To Do: Read Proverbs 20
Focus Point: Proverbs 20:4
This scripture is basically letting us know that hard work pays off. And if you are going to be lazy during the planting season, you will surely be begging and have nothing to reap.
Such is the case when dealing with marriage. There is no better way to say it than to say, “Marriage is hard work”. Do you find yourself becoming complacent and lazy in your marriage? Have you stopped dating, stopped being sweet and doing the things you used to do to win your spouse over?
How do you expect to get a withdrawal from somewhere you have not made a deposit? In your marriage bank, start depositing more love, more help and more support. Learn your spouse’s love language and constantly look for ways to make them happy.
You may say your spouse doesn’t deserve it but ask yourself do you always deserve it and give them some grace. Love them as unto the Lord and you will surely see results.
Affirmation of the Day:
My marriage is fruitful!
